arrrrgh!!! yo ho ho and a bunch of flowers!

i got to do a wedding i was dieing to do because it was a pirate themed wedding.  so much fun!!!  my neighbor's brother was getting married and i pretty much begged them to do it.
this was outside the logan temple.  just a close up of the bridal bouquet.  if you look really close you can see there's sea shells in there.  and just for my mom the name of the flowers (your welcome mom....not all spelled right though)  :)  orange asiatic lilies, blue delphenium, purple orcids, yellow alstromeria, greens: seeded euqualiptis, big varigated leaves, and italian rustus.

i didn't see them come out because they were taking their time and i was in a hurry.  i had to go set up the luncheon room before everyone got there.
the lunch was held at a really nice resturant in logan.  when you come up the stairs this is what you saw first.

there were about 7-8 very long tables i had to decorate.  this was a little tricky because i only knew i needed to decorate them 2 days before.  crazyness  :P  so they all had greens and then seashells and then gold coins sprinkled on top.  the pictures don't do it justice.
the head table (dumb me i didn't take a picture of it  :P  i ran out of time.)  had 3 arrangements on it on top of the greens.
this was the middle arrangement.  i freakin love these!!!  by far my fav. flowers arrangements i've ever done.  in the middle of the flowers are spanish moss, green moss, yellow moss, seashells, and gold coins.
this is a side view of the middle arrangement.  it's in a treasure chest.  so cool.
close up of the coins, moss, and shells of the middle arrangement.  i know this is over kill but i know my mom would love to see all of this.

this is one of the two longer side arrangements on the head table.  this picture is from the reception where we just put them on the window sills.  the other arrangement is just like this one but flip-flopped the flowers.

close up picture of longer arrangement.

picture from the other side so you can see the lilies.  and these things were so dang heavy!!  i had to move them 6 times.  to the car, out the car,in the cooler, out, up the stairs, down, in the recepetion......  and i had to move each one by themselves and then all my other stuff too.  it was a workout that day.
oh by the way...this is brook and tom...  they got married...anyways back to the flowers.  :)
one of the bridesmaids.  there were 7 of them.  and 8 groomsmen.  and yes they all had flowers.  the bouts. and cours. turn out really nice.  i'm sorry i didn't get a picture of them.
she didn't want the steams wrapped with ribbon or anything so i came up with wrapping them in the big green leaf.  it looked really cool and different.
these are the food table.  i didn't know how the food was going to be set up so i kinda felt bad because i used all their food table space.  oh well.  it looked pretty.  :)

this is an arragement i did and just below it is where they stood in line to greet everyone.  i wish i had a brtter picture of it.  it's a tall arrangement on top of a vase.  the whole arrangement stood 3 feet tall at least.  that window was so big!!  in the vase there was seashells, spanish moss, and green moss.  but you can kind of see the greens hanging down from the bottom of the window.  it looked really pretty.  i wish i got a better picture.
this was the table's.  turned out cool.  and the cake you say??  no flowers on it.  so no picture  :(    i did spanish moss on the railings too...again no picture of that.

Thanks for the details also. It wasn't an overkill to me.

  2. The table decorations were awesome. The colors were so vibrant. Wish I could have seen it all in person, but this was a great second best.
