blogging with the baby :)

while i've been updating...allison's been hanging out with me. so i took a picture of her and myself with my hair that i had cut all off 2 days ago. hurray it's gone!!

allison was just hanging out with grandma penner sitting there. she was so cut so i took a picture.

and it's now the second week of april....and we made a snowman. :)

another one bites the dust

ok....so elaina has a really hard time throwing away things (like her mom once was...thanks cory for curing me) so i decided that we need to take pictures of the things we have to throw away so "we can always remember them". most of the time i delete the picture..... what?!?! she'll never know!!! so here's a tribute to all broken things... this time it's a brush. moment of silence for elaina............

conference weekend

kevin, gherine, gabby, and andrew drove up to go to conference. they came over to watch the sunday pm session and have dinner before they had to leave. lex and elaina loved to have the cousin's come.


they were all really tired. early mornings and late nights. so allison cuddled up to gherine.

i saw this online.... each time one of the 12 spoke or the 1st presidency lex and elaina got to move them up to our podium to speak and they got to color their tie. they loved it.

lex sat through a record 2 1/2 sessions. elaina almost did all 4!! thanks to our "bobble heads", conferance wall, and our books we printed out. i tell ya... conference is a workout for mommy. up and down up and down... but it helps me with listening to the talks too and not sleeping through them.

a day in the life.... march 14th

allison's 3 months old and she's old enough for toys! she was so excited she could play with these. at first she couldn't figure out how to grab them. but after a couple days she's a pro at it and even pulls them off. she loves it!

the candy factory

we went to take a tour of the sweets candy factory in salt lake city in march with elaina's joy school group. we've been on a lot of field trips with them: pizza factory, pumpkin patch, air force museum, and some others. but i never bring my camera with me. so i finally bring it...and of course they don't allow pictures to be takin in the factory. *sigh* oh well. i at least got some.


after the tour we got some "num nums".....75 cents for the box!! woohoo!!

everyone had to wear hair nets on the tour. even allison. she was so cute :)

2 ladies and the underwear man

lex just pretty much doesn't wear clothes at our house. so just this last week i've made a rule...no being in underwear unless your in your room with the door closed. it worked! he wears clothes now. but.... here's before the rule was made. they're still cute.
