darn camera

i took the kids to the park to feed the ducks and play on the play ground just because we've been fixing up or rental house and they've been stuck there for days/weeks now.  so this is video of allison on the swings for the first time.  but my darn camera is broken so it's all blurry.  :(  but here it is anyways.

that same day we were just got home from the park and my sister in law kirsten calls and lets me know it's cow appreciation day at chick-fil-a.  and if you dress up like a cow you get a free meal.  so we all went down there and taped on cow pieces (tail, ears, spots, ect.)  and got lunch.  there were a ton of ppl there and it was so much fun.  cory even came to meet us and dressed up too.  :)  anything for free food.   i tried to get lex to dress up.   he wasn't having any of it.  so i told him the sign he wore said "i want some french fries" so he went for that.  lol  so here's the blurry video of that too.  darn camera  :P~~~

4th of july

4th of july we went to a parade!!  some guy was handing out free flags so the kids could wave them.

cousin jordan is in the marching band.  so we was in the parade.  when you watch the video he's in the second group of trombones and he's the second one in on the other side of where i'm standing....front row.

everyone watching the fireworks.  allison went to bed very early.  she's inside todd's house sleeping so she's not in any of these pictures.  but...peek a boo...elaina is  :)

"YEAH!!! COUSINS!!!"

lex and elaina were very excited when aunt camille called last minute and said she would be in salt lake doing a temple session.  so we went down to salt lake city to watch rachel and ben.  we had a great time with them looking at all the stuff around temple square.

it was pretty hot that day and we did a lot of walking.  so they had a good time putting their feet in the water.

we went and got ice cream with them because the kids were so good.  they listened so well and it was actually really easy to take care of them all.  thanks to my friend hannah who let me use her stroller....the day went by so much better!!!

we did a very quick tour of temple square with camille and bryan and then they had to go.  they were in town to be with bryan's family.  it was nice to be with them again even if we just saw therm a couple weeks ago.  :) 

work, work, work

when i got home from california we got to work on finishing our deck.  so here's some more of what we've done.  cory stained the railings and dug up the rest of the grass.  then we put our curbing in and planted the plants we got from the nursery were cory works. 

 the big green plant is a grape vine.  we have 2 and they're going to grow up onto the deck.  it'll look really cool once it's all grown in.

ont eh far right it shows the tree we planted.  i love it!  i want to plant more trees but cory doesn't want to.  we'll see :)

cory is starting to build lex and elaina's super bunk bed.  the plan is to have a fireman's pole, a swing, a rock climbing wall, and a deck on it. 

so here's the start of it.  cory hasn't gotten any farther on it because of working on our rental house.  but lex reminds him everyday about it.
