to the zoo!!

so before school let out last june lex was supposed to go on a field trip to the zoo but we got rained out.  he's been begging me to take him ever since and finally in sept. we went.    lex's fav animal was the giraffe's.  the trainers were working with them and we stayed for a good 1/2 hour just watching them train.  

we saw teh bird show which is another highlight.  and we got to take a picture with their eagle.  very cool.

                                had to take a drink out of the lions head.  we can't pass that up!!
