i have a friend that lives by name house that works for the us army. about 2-4 times a year she has me run a child care for an army marriage retreat. it's over a weekend and it's always at different locations. last year it was at yellowstone. this year was up in park city utah. it was so much fun! cory and the kids get to go with me while i do it. they pay for everything and also pay me for the child care. it's a sweet deal and i look forward to them. this was the hotel we stayed in while we were there.
right by the hotel they have a gonula ride that takes you down to a lower parking lot. there's a 7-11 there so we took rides down to get treats. lex LOVED it. elaina....not so much. lex sat down the whole time because i made him. there were big gaps that he could of crawled through and fell off. i told him if he moved he would be in big trouble. but he stayed still the whole time and said... "fly!!!!!" he had a great time. elaina on the other hand held onto me so tightly i couldn't get her off even if i tried. she liked it... but she was still scared....as you can tell by the look on her face.
we also went on the alpine slide while we were there. it's just a big slide that goes down the mountain side. it's a lot of fun. you take a ride up on a ski lift to the top and then you coast down on your sled. lex got to go 2 times. once with me and once with cory. once again...he loved it! he was a little scared at first but he was fine. elaina was too little to go on it so she stayed down at the bottom. but there were animals and rocks to play with so she also had a good time. :)
