lex's birthday party!!

opps...i must of missed his birthday party. we had it a couple days after his real birthday. before we went to bear lake. anyways... for his 2nd birthday party i did this reallllly big party with something like 23 kids. too big. it was a little crazy. so this year i did something that i knew he would really like. i invited our neighbors the ballards, his friend henry, and the cousins. it was wonderful not having too many kids. he really loves mickey mouse so i did a mickey mouse clubhouse party for him. it was a lot of work but the little kids loved it. i got mickey ears for all the kids to wear.

lex has this mickey mouse doll he sleeps with so i held up his mickey and made my voice sounds like mickey mouse. the kids had to help mickey put together lex's birthday party for him. so they followed around mickey to start the party. one of the things they did was play in the mickey mouses clubhouse that i made out of boxes. the kids had a great time crawling through...

i played the mickey mouse clubhouse song while they played. then they had to make lex's birthday cake. they helped me mix all the ingredients together and helped me pour it in the pan and put it in the oven to bake.

then they helped me get the balloons out for the party and we counted them. then they played with them a little bit.

and just like magic the cake was done! (i made a cake before hand and had my mom switch it in the oven while they were in the other room) so they got to help decorate the cake.


after the cake was decorated we ate and then opened up presents. this birthday was way better then last year. it had everything lex loves, mickey mouse, playing, helping, cooking, having a party, and having his friends and cousin's come to his house.
