for a long time now i've been wanting a cat so cory finally gave in and we got one for lex's brithday. lex and laina love her. it's been a challenge trying to teach them they can't carry the cat by it's fur on it's side, or it's ears, or it's tail, or it's legs.... you get the picture. so if ever you come to our house and see lex chasing the cat around with his arms stretched out screaming... "2 HANDS!!!!!!!" just understand that's he's learning still and trying to be nice. she was such a sweet little cat when she arrived. then my kids got ahold of her. now adays she can be nice. she'll sit on your lap and purr and then she'll start licking your face and the next thing you know you have a cat trying to rip your throat out with it's bare teeth. and when you throw her off...her eyes open wider, she dips down, puts her ears back, and BAM!!!! she's at your throat again this time drawing blood. so at our house we have cat time outs where she's locked in our laundry room til she can put the fangs away. so here's some pictures of our nice sweet cat the day she came to us...

and here's a couple of days later....... climbing up my leg.

since then... the biting and the clawing of my head while i'm sleeping has happened. so we decided to de-claw her and she was also spayed at the same time. she was great after that...for a couple days. now...she's just missing her claws. still biting and being the spawn of satan cat she was before she left for surgury. so now...we hope she'll calm down a little before she dies. we'll see. but we still love her anyways. hopefully she won't kill all of us in our sleep one of these nights. :)
