lex won for his class for the reading contest his school was doing. so his reward was to meet a jazz player and ask him a question. he was so excited. even though he had no idea who the jazz were until the day before. lol he just knew he won. and he let everyone know all about it. it was so cute to watch him be so excited.
the jazz player read all the kids a story. and......
at one point both kids were laying on the floor listening to the story. lex is on the other side of the room in the blue jersery. he kept running over to me and running back. finally when i got the chance i moved over to the other side of the room.

this is lex's teacher ms. conrad. he loves her so much. he doesn't like to take pictures (like father like son) but he said he would with ms. conrad.
