on one of the last days of school the fire department next door turned on the hose and soaked everyone. welll.....the plan was to have the top readers in each class spray the kids in the school. but the fire department didn't get that message. so for days before this i told lex he was going to spray the kids. so he was very disappointed when we got there and he couldn't do it. but he did get a hat.
we walked over to see what was going on before they started and we went planning on getting wet. well...they turned it on and the wind picked up the water and totallly soaked mom!! to the bone...soaked. lex ran before he got the worst of it. but it was freezing cold that day on top of it. so the kids that were just sitting there totally getting wet were freezing when it was all over. it was the worst of times...it was the best of times. :)
